THE VKG TEAM

Owner /administrator Gill Thornton & Daycare Manager Jo Wilson lead our small team.  All our staff are fully qualified or are working towards a qualification.  We ensure all our staff are updated regularly with basics such as paediatric first aid, food hygiene, and health and safety training as well as many other topics. We have an ongoing appraisal & training programme for all staff to aid their continual professional development.

As per OFSTED guidelines we have a ratio of staff to children as follows, although often our groups are even smaller.

1:3 for babies under 2

1:4 for children 2-3

1:8 for children 3-5
