VISITS
 

Parents coming to look round for the first time are given all the time they need to ask questions, talk to staff or let their child have a play to get a feel for the place.  We also offer a home visit for new families to help your child get to know his key worker before starting nursery.

Visits are welcome at any time, but if an appointment is made it can help to ensure our undivided attention for as long as you need, otherwise take us as you find us and come & join in the fun!

We are always ready to discuss your child’s needs and development whether informally or formally if there are any concerns.

PARENTAL ROLE

Parents are the first educators of their children and at VKG we never forget this.  

When you leave your child with us we are very much aware of the trust you are placing in us to look after one of the most important and treasured parts of your life.

Parents are encouraged to bring in anything that they feel would be of interest to the children or visitors who can share experiences of other cultures or professions.  We have in the past had tractors, saris, fire engines, tortoises and day old chicks!
