PHILOSOPHY

To be a small family-orientated day-care nursery in a homely environment

To ensure children feel safe and secure and that their family are happy to leave their child in our care

To stimulate the thirst for knowledge and help children become aware of their place in the world

To help children learn to socialise with other children and adults in a confident and caring manner

To ensure children leave the Kindergarten happy willing and interested to learn as well as with basic social and educational skills

At VKG we feel it’s very important to help the children to develop social skills, preparing them for the more formal environment at school and life beyond.

Table-manners and thinking of others, taking turns and sharing, toilet-training and promoting independence when dressing are all part of growing up and sometimes some of the most difficult things to learn when you're a toddler!

 Each child is allowed to grow and develop at his or her own pace, and we encourage them to explore while keeping their interest, letting them enjoy their childhood while helping them achieve their milestones in life.
